We believe in fair, transparent billing. While compute costs are real, we want you to be happy with GitSniff.
Unused Credits
Pre-paid wallet funds that have not been consumed are fully refundable within 30 days of purchase. No questions asked.
Platform Errors
If GitSniff fails to generate a response due to a platform error or outage, the cost of that specific analysis will be automatically credited back to your account.
1. Usage-Based Billing
GitSniff operates on a consumption model (Pay-Per-Request). Because providing AI code analysis incurs significant compute costs from our LLM providers (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic) the moment a request is processed, we generally cannot refund costs for code that has already been analyzed.
However, if you believe the analysis quality was completely unacceptable or hallucinated significantly (e.g., reviewed the wrong file), please contact support. We review these on a case-by-case basis.
2. Wallet Top-Ups
For customers using the pre-paid wallet system:
- Refund Window: You may request a refund of your remaining balance within 30 days of the last top-up.
- Processing Fee: A small processing fee (Stripe fees, approx. 2.9% + 30¢) may be deducted from the refund amount for transactions older than 7 days.
- Bonus Credits: Promotional or bonus credits granted by GitSniff have no cash value and are non-refundable.
3. Enterprise Contracts
Customers with custom enterprise agreements are subject to the specific termination and refund clauses outlined in their Master Services Agreement (MSA). Generally, annual contracts are non-refundable unless there is a material breach of SLA by GitSniff.
