GitSniff can add an AI-generated summary to your pull request description, giving human reviewers quick context about the changes.
What's included
The PR summary typically includes:
- Overview — A concise description of what the PR does
- Key changes — Bullet points highlighting the main modifications
- Risk assessment — The overall risk score and areas of concern
- Recommendations — Suggested areas for human reviewers to focus on
How it works
When enabled, GitSniff appends the summary to the existing PR description. Your original description is preserved — the AI summary is added below it in a clearly marked section.
Configuration
Enable or disable PR summaries in your settings:
- Organization level: Dashboard > Settings > PR Summary
- Repository level: Dashboard > Repository > Settings > PR Summary
PR summaries are independent from inline comments. You can have summaries without inline comments, or vice versa.
