Notifications
Configure how and when GitSniff notifies you about analysis results.
GitSniff can notify you when code reviews are completed through multiple channels.
Notification channels
GitHub
GitSniff always posts results directly to the pull request as comments and status checks. This is the primary notification mechanism and cannot be disabled.
Receive email notifications when analyses are completed. You can choose to receive notifications for:
- All completed analyses
- Only analyses with issues or critical findings
- No email notifications
Slack
Connect Slack to receive notifications in your team channels. Notifications include:
- Analysis completion status
- Risk score summary
- Link to the pull request
Notification preferences
Configure notifications at the organization level:
Dashboard > Settings > Notifications
Analysis started notifications
Choose how you're notified when an analysis begins:

Analysis completed notifications
Choose how you're notified when an analysis finishes:
